CPR & First Aid
Working closely with American Heart Association (AHA), OSCTC provides training space for individuals and groups on proper techniques and procedures to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adults, children and infants as well as Standard First Aid skills.
American Heart Association's one-day CPR/First Aid course will teach workplace responders and anyone who wants to be prepared to respond to emergencies and provide care until advanced medical care arrives. Upon successful completion, students will receive a two-year professional certification from AHA.
Completion of CPR training is required for admissions to Nursing and Phlebotomy training programs. Many jobs, especially in the healthcare industry, also require CPR & First Aid certification as a mandatory skill.
CPR and First Aid classes are open to public. Acceptable forms of payment for the CPR/First Aid classes include cash, money order, or cashier's check.
